Fatal Traffic Incident At Wades Garden Under  investigation

The Traffic Department of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force is currently investigating a fatal traffic incident that occurred in the Wades Garden area on the evening of Wednesday, May 21, 2025. At approximately 8:30 p.m., police received a report of a male individual being transported to the Joseph N. France General Hospital (JNF) with injuries suspected to be from a vehicular collision.

Upon arrival at the reported location, Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) pointed out the area where the injured individual was found. However, no vehicles or bystanders were present at the scene. Subsequent investigations at the JNF Hospital revealed that the injured individual was Mr. Ike Tross of Taylors. He was observed to have sustained multiple severe bruises across his body, including trauma to the face, limbs, and back, as well as multiple fractured ribs. Despite medical intervention, Mr. Tross succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at approximately 10:53 p.m. by Dr. Williams.

The circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear, and a thorough investigation is underway to determine the events leading to Mr. Tross’s injuries and subsequent death.

The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force extends sincere condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Tross and appeals to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may have relevant information to come forward.
