MOE EXPLORES NEW AVENUES FOR COLLABORATION
WITH UWI GLOBAL CAMPUS
Basseterre: St. Kitts, Friday, August 01, 2025: Minister of Education, Hon. Dr. Geoffrey Hanley, and Permanent Secretary, Mrs. Lisa-Romayne Pistana, welcomed Dr. Francis Severin, Pro Vice Chancellor and Principal of The University of the West Indies (UWI) Global Campus, to the Ministry of Education on Monday, July 28.
This courtesy call made by Dr. Severin and his delegation to the Ministry of Education, provided an opportunity for leaders to discuss ongoing initiatives and explore prospects for deepening collaboration between the Ministry and the UWI Global Campus. Dr. Severin, along with team member, Mrs. Gaile Phillip, Deputy Director (Ag), provided key updates on current projects being undertaken by Global Campus and highlighted areas of mutual interest that could strengthen the partnership moving forward.
The courtesy call reflects the Ministry’s broader strategy of engaging with regional and international institutions to enrich the education sector in St. Kitts and Nevis.
