ZENHASTEL HECTOR CHARGED FOR IMPORTATION & POSSESSION OF CANNABIS
Zenhastel Odel Hector, Junr. of Half-Moon Heights, Frigate Bay, St. Kitts, has been arrested and charged with multiple offences relating to the importation and possession of cannabis.
On September 22nd, 2025, officers of the Anti-Narcotics Unit of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) responded to a report from the St. Kitts and Nevis Customs and Excise Department at the Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport regarding a suspected drug importation. Upon investigation, officers discovered six (6) vacuum-sealed packages containing vegetable material suspected to be cannabis inside Mr. Hector’s luggage. The suspected cannabis was processed by the Crime Scene Unit and taken into Police custody and shortly thereafter confirmed as such.
On October 9th, 2025, Mr. Hector was charged with the offences of Importation of Cannabis and Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Supply. Additionally, the Customs Department charged Mr. Hector for the following offences under Customs regulations:
Presenting a False Declaration
Importation of Cannabis
Intent to Deceive a Customs Officer
