POLICE RECOVER AMMUNITION DURING SEARCH IN NEWTON GROUND

The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) recovered several rounds of ammunition during a joint operation conducted in Newton Ground, St. Kitts, on October 12th, 2025.

During the early morning hours, officers from the Anti-Narcotics Unit (ANU), Special Services Unit (SSU), and the Joint Security Operations Tactical Team (JSOTT) executed a coordinated search of two (2) empty lots in the area for controlled drugs, arms, and ammunition. The operation led to the discovery and seizure of six (6) rounds of 5.56mm ammunition, which were processed by the Crime Scene Department and taken into Police custody. No one has yet been held accountable for the contraband find. Investigations into the matter are ongoing, and updates will be appropriately issued as they progress.
