Iona Makes Inaugural Cruise Call to St. Kitts

Basseterre St. Kitts) 03 February 2025 – St. Kitts marked a significant milestone on Saturday, February 1st, 2025, with the inaugural cruise call of Iona, a member of P&O Cruises’ fleet. Iona boasts a guest capacity of 5,200 and is staffed by 1,800 crew members. The ship offers an extensive range of amenities, including 30 bars and restaurants, 10 entertainment venues, 4 swimming pools, and 15 guest decks, making it a state-of-the-art addition to the cruise industry.

To commemorate the occasion, a plaque exchange ceremony was held on board Iona, attended by tourism officials and representatives of P&O Cruises. The event underscores St. Kitts’ growing presence as a prime destination for international cruise ships.
