Basseterre, St. Kitts, May 3, 2018 – One of the most successful projects brought to St. Kitts and Nevis by the St. Kitts-Nevis Labour Party administration under the Citizenship by Investment programme has found a spot on Condé Nast’s World’s Best New Hotels Hotlist 2018.
Condé Nast Traveler, arguably the world’s leading travel magazine, has listed the Park Hyatt Saint Kitts, a development funded in large part by that country’s Citizenship by Investment Programme, as among the 102 best new hotels in the world in 2018.
For its 2018 hotlist, Condé Nast Traveler writes that its “editors vetted hundreds of recently opened hotels and resorts, from West Africa to Miami, and found that what stands out are the properties that combine old-school extravagance and service with just the right measure of modernity.”
“It’s a straight shot of electric blue sea and sky. As far as first impressions go, it’s pretty spectacular. Before you even check in, you’ll feel instantly relaxed and in pure vacation mode,” writes the magazine in its review of the Park Hyatt.
This is not the first time the resort gains international recognition. In February, CNN called it the best new hotel in the Caribbean.
Mohammed Asaria is founder of Dubai-based Range Developments, the firm that conceived of and built the project and who signed the agreement in 2012 and turned the sod for its construction in 2013 with St. Kitts and Nevis Prime Minister, the Right Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas, is elated.
“We are delighted to be nominated for these awards, it shows the expertise, professionalism and hard work of all our team is being recognized,” said Asaria in a news release.
