POLICE CHARGE GREGORY GILBERT FOR POSSESSION OF FIREARM
Basseterre, St. Kitts, July 19, 2018 (RSCNPF): On July 15, Gregory Gilbert of Boyds Village was formally arrested and charged, on a warrant in the first instance, for the offences of Possession of a Firearm and Possession of Ammunition. He was also informed that he was going to be reported and summoned for the offence of Larceny of a Police belt.
On July 13, Officers carried out a successful search exercise on the premises of Gregory Gilbert, located at Boyd’s Village, which resulted in the discovery of a revolver and matching rounds of ammunition.
This bring the total number firearms taken into Police custody for the year to seventeen (17).
