high chance of showers. Tonight will be cloudy with showers and a 40
percent or moderate chance of thunderstorms.
Eastern Caribbean Forecast: The southern and leading end of a
tropical wave bringing some moisture and instability to the
atmosphere over the Southern Caribbean will maintain a high chance
of showers and thunderstorms over the Windward Islands, Barbados
and Trinidad and Tobago. Meanwhile, low moisture levels and
instability will continue to keep the chances of showers low across the
rest of the Eastern Caribbean during the morning. However, moisture
and instability associated with the northern end of the tropical wave
will increase the cloud cover, showers and thunderstorms over the
Leeward Islands west to the Virgin Islands mainly tonight into
Thursday morning. A surge in winds associated with the wave will
also make for gusty conditions with gusts possibly peaking to near 52
km/h or 28 knots overnight across the Leeward Islands.
