SUGAR MAS 46 SOCA AND CALYPSO SEMI-FINALISTS’ ANNOUNCED!
Tuesday 5th December, 2017 (St. Kitts & Nevis) – Over the weekend, November 30th thru December 4th, 26 Soca Artistes and 61 Calypsonians competed at the Carnival City to advance to Semi-Finals. The massive crowd at the 4-nights event witnessed rivalry at its best, as past kings in both competitions performed enthusiastically to advance for an opportunity to reclaim their crowns.
At the end of the Soca Eliminations, twenty (20) Semi-Finalists were selected:
1 – DEJOUR: Soca Rebel – 205 points
2 – GHARLIC: Ghost Inside A De Jam – 202 points
3 – BARY C: Bring Your Bumper – 197 points
4 – X-MAN: Pop & Flick – 196 points
5 – MR HYPE: Crazy People – 195 oints
6 – NICHA B: Bam Bam – 194 points
7 – P PLUS: Sweet Sugar City – 186 points 7- K-WARNER: Waving Party – 186 points
8- WAYNE P: Chinese Soca Gal – 183 points 9- NICKHAIL: Bring Dah – 180 points
9- C-MAC: Carnival is We – 180 points
10- STEEL: Wukup Without A Cause – 174 points 11- JEEZY SPARTA: Sparta Mas – 172 points
12- JAZZBO ft TOBAP: Whine On Me – 171 points 13- DAGAH: Can’t Miss Jouvert – 170 points
14- LIL MISS: Indicator – 169 points
15- BLADE: Waistline – 168 points
16- TEFLON: De Vibes – 168 points
17- DJ WOODIS ft SELECTA MAD: Wootoop TV – 166 points

Monday night saw the culmination of the Sugar Mas 46 Senior Calypso Eliminations among Proud Sound Calypso Tent, Legends Calypso Tent and On Stage Calypso Tent. Sixteen (16) Calypsonians have been chosen to advance to the semifinal round.
