POLICE RECOVER WEAPON & SUSPECTED DRUG CONTRABAND ON ST. KITTS


The Anti-Narcotics Unit (ANU) of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) have recovered suspected drug contraband and another illegal weapon. The firearm and contraband recoveries took place between 12AM and 4AM on November 16th, 2023.

During the routine search of an abandoned building in the McKnight area, the officers recovered one (1) Glock 21gen4 .45 auto pistol with one (1) loaded magazine of three (3) hollow point .45 rounds, and ten (10) ball point .45 rounds of ammunition.
While searching another abandoned building in the McKnight area, the officers also recovered one (1) large transparent zip-lock bag containing nine (9) pieces of foil paper with a white substance suspected to be Cocaine; one (1) small transparent zip-lock bag with a white powdery substance also suspected to be Cocaine, and portions of brown substance suspected to be tobacco.
No one has yet been held accountable for either contraband recovery. Investigation into the matters are ongoing and updates will be appropriately issued.
