The Police are currently investigating a shooting incident that occurred on January 15th, 2024, in the St. Paul’s area on St. Kitts. Presently, investigations suggest that the incident left a fifteen (15)-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the lower mid-section.
He was taken to the Pogson Hospital in Sandy Point by a private vehicle and thereafter, transported to the Joseph N. France General Hospital via ambulance for emergency surgery. He has since been warded at the Intensive Care Unit in critical condition.
Currently, there is one (1) individual in custody assisting with the investigation. Additional updates will be issued when available.
