SKN Alliance Denounces Violence in Newtown Tragedy
Basseterre, St. Kitts-Nevis – The SKN Alliance, strongly condemns the tragic events that
occurred on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, resulting in the loss of a young man’s life. Our hearts are
heavy with grief for the families of all those involved.
We want to unequivocally state that the alleged actions of the perpetrator in no way reflect
the values or beliefs of the LGBTQI+ community. We stand firmly against violence and
hatred in all their forms.
We understand that this incident has evoked strong emotions, and we urge the public to
respect the investigative process. It is crucial to allow law enforcement officials to conduct a
thorough and impartial investigation. Everyone deserves a fair trial, free from prejudice and
preconceived notions.
Our deepest condolences go out to the families and loved ones of all those impacted by this
tragedy. We extend our heartfelt support during this difficult time.
