Hon Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew:

I take this opportunity to wish our students, teachers and auxiliary staff all the best as they go back to school today.

We have made significant investments in education making sure that our students have the tools they need, such as their devices, to enhance the learning experience.

At the Cayon High School, I want to thank all involved in ensuring that the students will go back to a safe space. We have taken extensive measures to rid the school of mold to the extent of deploying advanced technology. A task force to deal with issues of mold has also been put together.

The health and safety of our students, teachers and auxiliary staff is our number one priority and it will never be compromised.

We encourage all students to work hard and to be kind. Seize this opportunity to secure a good education.

To the teachers and staff, you hold the power to shape futures. Continue to uplift and inspire.

Best wishes to all.
