Mr. Oswald Elliott, commenced life as a citizen of St. Kitts and Nevis on July 10, 1953. He started his primary education at the Newtown Junior School, and completed it at the St. Joseph Parochial School. On the cusp of his teenage years, Oswald transitioned to the Convent High School starting his secondary education. He then transitioned to and graduated from the Basseterre High School a fact he would proudly disclose to the listening ear.

Prime Minister Hon. Dr. Terrance Drew spent some time today with some of my youngest constituents.

I was invited by the Louisa Grant Preschool in Conaree to read to the students and I could not pass up the opportunity to spend some quality time with some of our nation’s future leaders. I had a wonderful time sharing with them from the book “So Much” by Trish Cooke, Illustrated by Helen Oxenbury. The enthusiasm and excitement warmed my heart.

INLAND REVENUE DEPARTMENT LAUNCHES LONG ESSAY COMPETITION FOR SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS

BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, JUNE 07, 2023 – The Inland Revenue Department (IRD) is pleased to announce the launch of its inaugural Long Essay Competition, open to all Secondary School Students. This competition aims to engage and encourage young minds to explore and analyze the impact of property taxes on local communities or propose innovative ideas and strategies for reforming the property tax system.
