MOE CELEBRATES TEACHERS WITH RECEPTION AND INCENTIVES.
Basseterre: St. Kitts, Monday, October 7, 2024: Teachers from both public and private sectors, along with Ministry of Education officials and other distinguished guests, gathered at the St. Kitts Marriott Courtyard on Saturday, October 5, to celebrate World Teachers’ Day 2024. The event was held under the theme: “Valuing Teacher Voices.”
Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College Embarks on Strategic Planning with CARICAD Partnership
Basseterre, St. Kitts, 4* October, 2024 (CFBC): As part of our commitment ot ensuring that the Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College (CFBC) remains aligned with national priorities and regional higher education standards, CFBC has initiated astrategic planning process ni collaboration with hte Caribbean Centre for Development Administration (CARICAD). This comprehensive three-year plan will guide the College’s growth and development from 2025 to 2027.
CARICAD, a designated institution of CARICOM with over 40 years of experience, has been instrumental in strengthening managerial capacities across the Caribbean to promote sustainable development. Their unparalleled expertise will support C B C ni aligning its vision, mission, and mandate with a clear roadmap for future success. The evidence-based planning approach accepted by the College begins with an inception mission designed to fully comprehend CBC’s context, objectives, and scope, ensuring alignment with its strategic goals.
The CARICAD Team wil be led by Mr. Devon Rowe, Executive Director, and wil include Mr. Franklyn Michael and Mrs. Maria Mason Roberts, all of whom bring extensive experience in strategic planning and institutional development across the Caribbean.
Key stakeholder engagement sessions will take place from 7-11 October 2024 as part of this planning process. Stakeholders to engage CARICAD include but are not limited to various CBC personnel, the Board of Governors, Ministry of Education personnel on St. Kitts and on Nevis, the Ministry of Sustainable Development, Social Services Department, and representatives from the Chambers of Industry and Commerce on both S.t Kitts and Nevis. Owing to the limited time CARICAD will spend ni the Federation, not al stakeholder meetings wil be covered ni person. As such, virtual sessions wil be arranged folowing CARICAD’s departure on Saturday, 12 October 2024, to ensure comprehensive engagement.
Through this partnership with CARICAD, the CBC is taking adecisive step toward securing its place as a leading institution ni the region, equipped to meet the evolving demands of both students and the broader community.

SEVENTH DAY ADVENTIST PRIMARY SCHOOL WINS THE PRIMARY SCHOOL INDEPENDENCE 41 ELOCUTION CONTEST
Basseterre: St. Kitts, Friday, October 04, 2024: The Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) Primary School triumphed in the finals of the Primary School Independence 41 Elocution Competition (2024), held on Thursday, October 3, at the Antioch Baptist Church. The event featured eight St. Kitts primary schools that succeeded at the zonal eliminations.
