Their goal was to engage students in the joy of listening to stories read aloud.

Basseterre, St. Kitts, February 06, 2025 (SKNIS): Prices on goods and services in St. Kitts and Nevis should generally reflect reduced prices as a result of the six-month Value Added Tax (VAT) Relief Holiday implemented on January 01, 2025. A preliminary market assessment of four major retail outlets by the Department of Consumer Affairs last month showed that some prices surveyed were lower. However, there have also been a few cases where some companies have not adjusted prices downward.

The Department of Student Services, led by Ms. Clytie Gilbert, organized a special welcome ceremony to mark the occasion.

The U.S. Postal Service said on Wednesday it would accept parcels from China and Hong Kong, in a U-turn after a suspension following President Donald Trump ending a trade provision used by retailers including Temu, Shein, and Amazon AMZN.O to ship low-value packages duty-free to the U.S.
