CHAIRMAN SAMUEL ADDRESSES RECENT CRUISE SHIP CANCELLATIONS
Basseterre, St. Kitts, January 29, 2022 (SKNIS): While cruise ships continue to call at Port Zante on St. Kitts at an impressive rate, Chairman of the National COVID-19 Task Force, Abdias Samuel, noted that some vessels were unable to make their scheduled visits as a result of a high positivity rate of confirmed COVID-19 cases.

The Marella Discovery will not make its scheduled call to St. Kitts today, Thursday 27th Janaury, 2022. In addtiion, Jewel of the Seas will be tendering this morning to allow crew to disembark to join Anthem of the Seas. Please note that no guests will disembark Jewel of the Seas as the ship is only in St. Kitts to facilitate the crew exchange.

The Grandeur Of The Seas, which arrived early this morning at Port Zante, also departed this morning at 10am from the destination.
