FIREARM AND AMMUNITION FOUND DURING SEARCH
Our ongoing operations at the South East Peninsula to ensure the safety of revellers traveling to Nevis for the August Monday festivities have proven successful. During a routine stop and search, one firearm with matching ammunition was recovered, leading to several arrests.

DOUBLE HOMICIDE INVESTIGATION
BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, August 3, 2024. At approximately 9:52 AM on Friday, 2nd August 2024, the Police received a report of a vehicle containing two deceased males with apparent gunshot wounds, located near the Newton Ground Bay. In response, officers from Sandy Point Police Station and other units were dispatched to the scene.
AUTOPSY REPORT FOR SANDRA ROBERTS
BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, August 2, 2024. An autopsy was conducted on the body of the late Sandra Roberts, a 54-year-old resident of New Road Housing Project, on August 2, 2024. The autopsy was performed by Resident Pathologist Dr. Naudica Philip at the JNF Hospital Mortuary.
HIGH COURT CONVICTIONS – SHAQUILLE LIBURD SENTENCED TO SIXTY (60) YEARS IN PRISON
BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, August 2, 2024. On January 31, 2022, Shirbon Eddy, 31, of Taylor’s, was charged with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.

POLICE INVESTIGATING SHOOTING INCIDENT IN TABERNACLE
UPDATE: Dean Boddie passed away at about 2:05pm today, Aug 2. The police is now conducting a homicide investigation.
BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, August 2, 2024. At approximately 10:25 pm on August 1, 2024, the police received and responded to a report of a shooting at Tabernacle Village.
