Our ongoing operations at the South East Peninsula to ensure the safety of revellers traveling to Nevis for the August Monday festivities have proven successful. During a routine stop and search, one firearm with matching ammunition was recovered, leading to several arrests.

DOUBLE HOMICIDE INVESTIGATION

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, August 3, 2024. At approximately 9:52 AM on Friday, 2nd August 2024, the Police received a report of a vehicle containing two deceased males with apparent gunshot wounds, located near the Newton Ground Bay. In response, officers from Sandy Point Police Station and other units were dispatched to the scene.
