MAKONEN GUMBS CHARGED FOR LARCENY & ROBBERY


Makonen Gumbs of Shadwell, St. Kitts, aged twenty-three (23), has received three (3) charges for the offences of Larceny and Robbery. Mr Gumbs was charged for the offence of Larceny (indictable) that was committed on May 21st, 2024, at College Street, St. Kitts. He has also been charged for the offence of Larceny committed on May 27th, 2024, at Pine Gardens, Shadwell, St. Kitts, and the offence of Robbery that was committed on June 3rd, 2024, also at Pine Gardens, Shadwell.

POLICE LAY ASSAULT & POSSESSION CHARGES AGAINST ALSTON WILLIAMS


The Police have charged Alston Williams of Bamboo Street, Molineaux, St. Kitts, for the
offences of Aggravated Assault and Battery, and Possession of Firearm with Intent by
means to Endanger Life. The offences were committed on May 30th, 2024, at Scotch Bonnet Hill, Southeast Peninsula, St. Kitts.

POLICE APPREHEND SUSPECT IN SHADWELL ROBBERY

The Police are investigating a robbery that was committed at a grocery store in the Shadwell area on St. Kitts. The criminal act was committed on June 3rd, 2024, between 1PM and 2PM. Initial inquiries indicate that a male assailant armed with a machete entered the establishment and stole an undisclosed sum of money from the cash register. Shortly after exiting the store, the assailant was intercepted and apprehended by patrolling officers of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) and subsequently taken into custody.

ANTHONY FRANCIS CHARGED FOR FALSE PRETENCE


The Police have charged Anthony Francis of Pine Garden, Shadwell, St. Kitts, three (3) warrants in the first instance for the offence of False Pretence. The offences were committed on January 18th and 19th, 2024, at Happy Hill Drive, Nevis. Mr Francis was charged on June 4th, 2024, at the Newcastle Police Station.
