16-year-old juvenile male charged with murder and two counts of attempted murder in St. Kitts
Basseterre, St. Kitts, June 17, 2018 – A 16-year-old juvenile male has been charged with the murder of 17-year-old Jamoy Stapleton of Taylors, St. Kitts. Stapleton is the Federation’s 13th murder victim for 2018.
The 16-year-old juvenile was also charged with two counts of attempted murder.

POLICE INVESTIGATING HOMICIDE AT COLLEGE STREET GHAUT
Basseterre, St. Kitts, June 17, 2018 (RSCNPF): Sometime after 8 p.m. on June 16, Police received a report of a shooting incident at College Street Ghaut.
Several units responded along with members of the Emergency Medical Services. Upon arrival they found the motionless body of 33-year-old Ronaldo Jeffers of St. Peters in the driver’s seat of a motor bus he had been driving. He had what appeared to be multiple gunshot wounds about the body and to the head.

CLAY GHAUT RESIDENT CHARGED FOR POSSESSION OF FIREARM
Basseterre, St. Kitts, June 16, 2018 (RSCNPF): A man has been charged for the firearm found in Nevis during a recent search operation.
Eric Stapleton Jr., was who taken into Police custody for the firearm, was charged for the offences of Possession of a Firearm, Possession of Ammunition and Smuggling on June 15.

Basseterre, St. Kitts, June 16, 2018 (RSCNPF): A search operation in Molineux has resulted in the removal of the 16th firearm from the streets of St. Kitts and Nevis.
While searching the area outside the perimeter of a property in Molineaux on June 16, Officers in Division B found one (1) 9mm pistol and nine (9) rounds of matching ammunition. No one is currently in custody in relation to the find. Technicians from the Forensic Services Unit visited and processed the scene.
