AUTOPSY PERFORMED ON BODY FOUND AT OTTLEY’S LEVEL

Basseterre, St. Kitts, May 03, 2018 (RSCNPF): On May 01, Forensic Pathologist, Dr. Valery Alexandrov, performed an autopsy on the body that was found at Ottley’s Level.

Dr. Alexandrov’s report ruled that the cause of death was inconclusive due to the advanced stage of decomposition. Efforts are still being made to ascertain the identity of the individual.

On Thursday, April 27, a report was made at the Basseterre Police Station of a body being found in the mountainous area of West Farm, which is also referred to as Ottley’s Level. Officers from several units responded. Upon arrival at the scene, the decomposing body of a male individual was seen lying on the bathroom floor of a building that houses the transmission equipment for different radio/TV stations.

Police investigations into the matter are ongoing.
