TWO IN CUSTODY FOR RECENT BURGLARIES IN WEST FARMS AND CAMPS
Basseterre, St. Kitts, March 15, 2017 (RSCNPF): Two persons have been arrested on suspicion of two recent Burglaries in the West Farms and Camps area.
The incidents occurred on Monday (March 13).
We urge residents to be alert, look out for each other in our communities and to report any suspicious activity or criminal activity they may be aware of. By working together in fighting crime we can make a difference.
The Police encourages residents to embrace proven security measures to reduce the risk of being the victim of a crime against a person or property. Here are a few safety measures to employ to reduce the risk:
Always lock your doors and windows. Before retiring for the night, walk your home and hand touch all windows and doors to ensure they are properly secured. Doors should be locked with a deadbolt. Install guards on windows that prevent them from being raised more than a few inches. Never leave a key hidden outside under the mat or in a flower pot for friends and family. Burglars look there as well.
