CAYON SHOOTING UNDER POLICE INVESTIGATION

The Police are investigating the shooting death of thirty (30)-year-old Kelvin Millard of Upper Cayon, St. Kitts. The incident occurred on January 21st, 2024, between 3AM and 4AM along the island main road in Cabbage Tree, Cayon. Responding to the scene, the Police discovered Mr Millard motionless in his vehicle. He was pronounced deceased at the scene shortly thereafter.

JAMAICA’S HIGH COMMISSIONER TO MEET NATIONALS IN ST. KITTS AND NEVIS

Jamaica’s High Commissioner to Trinidad and Tobago Mrs. Natalie Campbell-Rodriques will be meeting all Jamaicans residing in the Federation on Tuesday January 23, 2024 at a reception to be held at Carambola Restaurant. The reception will commence at 7pm. The JamKitNev Association is inviting all Jamaicans living in the Federation to attend. Transportation will be provided for those who need assistance to attend the event. The Association is urging Jamaicans who wish to attend the reception, to register online by visiting the JamKitNev Association’s Facebook page (www.facebook.com/JamKitNevAssoc) and fill out a digital form.

DOMINIQUE GREENE CHARGED IN MAJOR WEAPONS RECOVERY

The Police have arrested and charged Dominique Greene of School Road, Old Road, St. Kitts, on six (6) counts of Possession of Ammunitions and two (2) counts of Possession of Firearms. Mr Greene’s charges are the result of a joint search operation conducted at his home on January 19th, 2024, by the Anti-Narcotics Unit (ANU) and the Joint Security Operations Tactical Team (JSOTT) of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF); the St. Kitts and Nevis Defence Force (SKNDF); and officers from the St. Kitts and Nevis Customs and Excise Department.
