SUSPECTED SHOOTING DEATH ON NEVIS UNDER POLICE INVESTIGATION
The Police are investigating the suspected shooting death of Marieus Webbe of PondHill, Nevis. The incident occurred on December 21st, 2023, in Brown Hill, Nevis. Police responded to a report of a visibly wounded and unresponsive male being found in an animal pen. Upon arrival at the scene, said male was identified as Mr Webbe. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

NEVIS ARMED ROBBERY UNDER POLICE INVESTIGATION
The Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred in Nevis on December 22nd, 2023, between 6PM and 7PM. Initial investigations indicate that a single masked and armed male assailant entered a business establishment, stole a sum of money from the register, then fired two (2) rounds of ammunition while making his getaway.

At about 18:55hrs on 22/12/23 a lone masked individual armed with a firearm entered Teddy’s Bar and slot machines and demanded cash. He took an undisclosed amount of cash from the register and while making his exit, he randomly fired two rounds of ammunition.
No one was injured in the process.
Information reaching this media that a gun man entered an establishment (Slots/Games) in New Castle Nevis where he discharged 2 shots in the area. He then robbed the cashier and escape with an undisclosed sum of money.
