PM Harris’ Press Conference: Wednesday, November 14th, 2018

Prime Minister Dr. the Honourable Timothy Harris is pleased to once more update citizens and residents of St. Kitts and Nevis on matters of national interest.

The Honourable Prime Minister’s monthly press conference will be held on Wednesday, November 14th, 2018 from 2:00pm in the Parliamentary Lounge at Government Headquarters.

The press conference will be broadcast live on national media and attended by the press corps who will ask questions for the benefit of the listening and viewing public.

The St. Kitts and Nevis Information Service (SKNIS) will stream the press conference live on Facebook Wednesday, November 14th, starting at 2:00pm.  Prime Minister Harris’ press conferences are always streamed live on www.facebook.com/sknismedia/.

St .Kitts and Nevis Participates in the XVII ALBA-TCP Political Council Meeting in Nicaragua

Basseterre, Nov 12, 2018- The 17th Ordinary Meeting of the Political Council of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of America (ALBA), was held in Managua, Nicaragua on November 8, 2018. St. Kitts and Nevis was amongst the eight countries of the eleven member organization which participated in this important meeting.

The delegation was headed by Ambassador to CARICOM and OECS Commissioner, H.E. Lionel Sydney Osborne and included Ambassador in the Office of the Prime Minister, H.E. Michael Powell, and Foreign Service Officer in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mrs. Sonia Boddie-Thompson.  The other countries in attendance at the meeting were Venezuela, Cuba, Bolivia, Nicaragua, Dominica, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and Antigua and Barbuda.
