BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, SEPTEMBER 13TH 2017 – St. Kitts and Nevis’ Leader of the Opposition and former Prime Minister, the Right Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas said Tuesday he is deeply saddened by the loss and damages sustained by the Republic of Cuba in the aftermath of the devastating Hurricane Irma.

Kitts and Nevis, other islands impacted by Hurricane Irma

BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, 13TH SEPTEMBER 2017 – The International Federation of the Red Cross (IFRC) said although St. Kitts and Nevis suffered relatively minor damages, in comparison to other Caribbean islands, “concerns have been raised about the risk of vector and waterborne diseases.”

St Kitts Nevis nationals in Anguilla please note that the Hon Alexis Jeffers and the Hon. Mark Brantley together with a technical team will be available on Thursday September 14th at 10am morning at the gazebo area opposite the former Caribbean Commercial Bank (CCB). We are asking as many citizens who can make it to attend so that we can hear first hand what the needs of our nationals are .
