Johns Hopkins says testing of an experimental herpes vaccine in St. Kitts from April to August in 2016 ‘unethical’

WASHINGTON DC, AUGUST 27TH 2017 – News that St. Kitts and Nevis was involved in the off-shore testing of an experimental herpes vaccine is being reported in the United States.

The report raises questions as to whether the Timothy Harris-led Team Unity administration was aware of the project, the dates of which coincide with an illegal and ethical stem cell programme abruptly halted by the sitting Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Patrick Martin when he learnt of the project, which he was unaware of. Martin was immediately removed from his post and sent on pre-retirement leave by the Timothy Harris Government.

Chamber’s Nevis Division breaks silence on murder of Benjamin Joseph, fifth businessman gunned down in 2017

CHARLESTOWN, NEVIS, AUGUST 28TH 2017 – The shooting death of Nevisian businessman, Benjamin Joseph, has awakened a sleeping St. Kitts and Nevis Chamber of Industry and Commerce, at least its Nevis Division.

With 18 murders including seven on Nevis for the year to date, the Chamber, the St. Kitts and Nevis Bar Association, the St. Kitts Business Forum, the St. Kitts Christian Council, the St. Kitts Evangelical Association, the Nevis Christian Council, the Nevis Christian Council, the Nevis Teachers Union and the St. Kitts Teachers Union have all remained silent on the murders, even though four other small businessmen and a teenager were brutally murdered before Joseph’s killing.

“Unethical” herpes vaccine on sale in St. Kitts
as international medical scandal widens

BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, AUGUST 28TH 2017 – St. Kitts and Nevis is selling a herpes vaccine, in which over 20 persons were experimented upon and deemed unethical.

The Daily Beast, a US-based publication, which it’s editor-in-chief says looks for “scoops, scandals and stories about secret worlds”, reports that an American university and a group of wealthy libertarians, including prominent Donald Trump supporter Peter Thiel, backed the testing of an experimental herpes drugs in St. Kitts and Nevis between April to August in 2016.

BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, AUGUST 23RD 2017 – St. Kitts and Nevis’ Prime Minister Dr. Timothy Harris lied to the St. Kitts and Nevis National Assembly and the Nation last week, when he denied paying US$53,000 to American lawyer, consultant and lobbyist, Lanny Davis, for lobbying services on behalf of the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis during the first half of 2016.
