Johns Hopkins says testing of an experimental herpes vaccine in St. Kitts from April to August in 2016 ‘unethical’
WASHINGTON DC, AUGUST 27TH 2017 – News that St. Kitts and Nevis was involved in the off-shore testing of an experimental herpes vaccine is being reported in the United States.
The report raises questions as to whether the Timothy Harris-led Team Unity administration was aware of the project, the dates of which coincide with an illegal and ethical stem cell programme abruptly halted by the sitting Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Patrick Martin when he learnt of the project, which he was unaware of. Martin was immediately removed from his post and sent on pre-retirement leave by the Timothy Harris Government.
