CHARLESTOWN/BASSETERRE – Reports of a shooting in Nevis Tuesday night and a robbery in St. Kitts on Wednesday morning.

According to a credible source, the Chinese supermarket in Russell Village, Basseterre was robbed around mid-morning Wednesday. No further details were immediately available.

Police officers deliver letter to Chief Medical Officer Dr. Patrick Martin retiring him “with immediate effect”

BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, JULY 26TH 2017 – Two members of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force delivered a letter from the Team Unity Government of Prime Minister Dr. the Hon. Timothy Harris, to Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Patrick Martin which informed him that he was retired “with immediate effect.”

Basseterre, St. Kitts, July, 31 2017, (RSCNPF): Below is a report of Arrests, Convictions and other activities recorded by the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force for the period July 29 -30, 2017.
ARREST AND BAIL:
Arrested: Jerod Stapleton of Lodge Estate was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Possession of Cannabis.
Arrested: Ezrette Henville of Ponds Pasture was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of Possession of Cocaine and Possession of Cocaine with intent to supply.
Arrested: Eric Thompson of Ponds Pasture was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of Possession of Cocaine and Possession of Cocaine with intent to supply.
Arrested: Rayheim Forbes of Ponds Pasture was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of Possession of Cocaine and Possession of Cocaine with intent to supply.
Arrested: Adrian Caines of Main Street St. Paul’s was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence Possession of Cannabis.

POLICE RECRUITS SEE INCREASED OPERATIONS AS AN EARLY OPPORTUNITY TO PUT CLASSROOM LECTURES INTO PRACTICE

Basseterre, St. Kitts, August 01, 2017 (RSCNPF): Recent Citizen Safety Operations by the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force resulted in a break in the training cycle for recruits in Training Class Forty-One (41).
The recruits have been augmented to fill manning needs across the Police Service while seasoned Officers conduct the ongoing Citizen Safety Operations. Several Recruits have said that they welcome the break from the early morning Physical Training sessions, morning drill on the parade square and the long days in the classroom.
In speaking with the Recruits, the majority have expressed positively that the break has provided the opportunity to put into practice and to see firsthand the application of many of lessons covered in the classroom.
