Basseterre, St. Kitts, February 22, 2018 – Park Hyatt St. Kitts, first venture into the Caribbean has been a long time coming. Originally slated to open in the fall of 2016, the brand’s St. Kitts property didn’t debut until this past November, but it has certainly been worth the wait.
The luxury resort was attracted to St. Kitts by then Prime Minister the Right Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas.

Opposition MP accuses controversial Speaker Perkins of not addressing illegal actions; calls on constituents to walk him to parliament

Basseterre, St. Kitts, February 21, 2018 – Opposition parliamentarian, Hon. Konris Maynard, called on his constituents to accompany him to Wednesday afternoon’s sitting of the St. Kitts and Nevis National Assembly after the controversial Speaker Michael Perkins, refused to address the illegality of his actions and denied Maynard’s request to withdraw the ten-day suspension on the grounds that it was “unlawful and invalid.”
