DOUGLAS’ UNCONTROLLABLE AND DESPICABLE BEHAVIOUR DISPLAYED IN PARLIAMENT

Once again, the nation was appalled at the uncontrollable and despicable behavior of Denzil Douglas in the National Assembly on Tuesday 23rd January. This was in response to the news that he is being taken to court for owning and using a passport of the Commonwealth of Dominica.

Dr Douglas once again showed his true nature. He quickly became angry, abusive and disrespectful to the Speaker and the Attorney General. He shouted, ranted and screamed like a spoilt brat simply because he was not allowed to get his own way to curse and abuse as usual. Speaker Perkins has established a different standard of conduct for 2018 and has encouraged all parliamentarians to adopt and act accordingly.

PM Harris cuts holiday pay of hospital auxiliary workers

Basseterre, St. Kitts, January 25, 2018 – Weekly paid workers at the J.N. France General Hospital are the poorer following a cut in their holiday pay by the Team Unity Government of Prime Minister Dr. Timothy Harris on the ground that they were being overpaid for the past 10 years by the former Labour administration of the Rt. Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas.
