Star West Indies bowler is suspended by International Cricket Council

West Indies fast bowler Ronsford Beaton was recently suspended by the International Cricket Council (ICC) from bowling in international cricket.

The 25-year-old Guyanese was reported for a suspect bowling action following the second One-Day International against New Zealand in Christchurch last December.

He has now failed a recent independent assessment, the ICC announced.

Development Bank playing critical role in the growth of cricket in Nevis  

Charlestown, NevisJune 14, 2018 (DBSKN) — The small island of Nevis in the Leeward Islands, which is one of the two islands that make the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis, made history in 1972 when it became the first island in the chain to put a cricket player on the Senior West Indies Team. The then 19-year-old Elquemedo Willett was one of the players picked to play against Australia.
