Adrian Williams featured as one of the USTFCCCA National athletes of the week

Charlestown, Nevis – Adrian Williams, the South Plains College Sophomore is being featured as one of the United States Track & Field and Cross Country (USTFCCCA) National Athletes of the Week after securing the GOLD, (threw a distance of (69.34m) at the recently held Texas Tech Masked Rider Open.

His performance at the event saw him winning gold for the second straight year. He also posted a new personal best, set a national record for St. Kitts and Nevis and broke his own school record.

With the sixth best throw by any collegiate athlete, Williams has etched his name in the record books as one of the most decorated male junior athletes​ from St. Kitts and Nevis.

Having collected his third medal of the year, he is set to defend his javelin championship at the NJCCA Division 1 National Championships in just a few weeks.
