Ireland downgrades travel alert for Saint Kitts and Nevis

Basseterre, St. Kitts, December 21, 2021 (SKNIS): The Government of the Republic of Ireland has downgraded advice on travel to Saint Kitt’s and Nevis from “Avoid non-essential travel” to “High degree of caution” in a recent Travel Alert on its country website.

St. Kitts Welcomes the Inaugural Call of Spirit of Adventure

Basseterre (21st December 2021): The Spirit of Adventure, the newest boutique ship from Saga Cruises, made its inaugural call to St. Kitts today, December 21st, 2021, making it the sixth inaugural call to the destination since the official start of the cruise season in November. The Ministry of Tourism and the St. Kitts Tourism Authority celebrated the inaugural call with a plaque exchange ceremony.

CELEBRITY EQUINOX RETURNS TO PORT ZANTE WITH 1147 PASSENGERS IN A BUBBLE WITH COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS

Basseterre, St. Kitts, September 14, 2021 (SKNIS): The Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis kick-started the 2021-2022 cruise season by welcoming the Celebrity Equinox, which docked at Port Zante, Basseterre, on September 14, 2021, in a bubble with COVID-19 restrictions. At the simple plaque exchange ceremony to welcome the passengers and crew, the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Tourism, Mrs. Carlene Henry-Morton, gave remarks on behalf of the Prime Minister Dr. the Hon. Timothy Harris and expressed joy with the arrival of the cruise vessel, while also noting that much more work still needs to be done.
