 BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, September 11, 2018 (Press Unit in the Office of the Prime Minister) – Citizens and residents of St. Kitts and Nevis should marvel at the improved relations that now exist between the twin island Federation and the United States of America (USA), under the Team Unity administration, that led to St. Kitts and Nevis being among a select number of countries that has been granted interview waiver for visa renewals.

PM HARRIS SAYS VISA RENEWAL INTERVIEW WAIVER REFLECTS IMPROVED RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE U.S. AND ST. KITTS AND NEVIS UNDER TEAM UNITY

 

Qualified St. Kitts and Nevis passport holders are no longer required to undergo a visa renewal interview at the U.S. Embassy in Barbados, effective today, Monday, September 10th, 2018, the United States Government announced Friday.

“This is a pivotal moment for diplomacy, as it is indicative of the much-improved relationship and goodwill between the United States and the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis under my Team Unity Government,” the Prime Minister and Minister of National Security said today, Monday.

“Since being elected in February 2015 to serve the interests of the people of St. Kitts and Nevis, my Government has consistently demonstrated high levels of accountability, cooperation and transparency in the diplomatic arena,” Prime Minister Harris also said.

ECCB reports 3rd Straight Year of Increases in Cruise and Super Yacht Calls and Visitors to St.Kitts-Nevis.

Basseterre, St. Kitts, June 7, 2018 – The number of cruise visitors and cruise ship calls  to St. Kitts and Nevis increased  in 2017 for the third consecutive year.

That’s according to the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB) which reported increases in cruise visitor arrivals from the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada and the Caribbean for the period under review.
