Basseterre, St. Kitts, May 3, 2018 (S.T.E.P.) — Special Olympians who had on Wednesday May 2 assembled at the Kim Collins Stadium for the annual Special Olympics St. Kitts and Nevis National Games with the aim of attaining qualifying marks for the Special Olympics World Games in Abu Dhabi next year will have to wait a little longer.

Popular Tek Dat Bar on Fort Street closes; Exclusives among other small business closures in St. Kitts
Basseterre, St. Kitts, May 2, 2018 – As the St. Kitts and Nevis economy continues to tumble, more small businesses are closing their doors resulting in loss of pay checks, unemployment and non-payment of bills.
On Monday, 30th April, the popular Tek Dat Bar on Fort Street closed its doors.
Persons on Fort Street observed workmen taking down the Tek Dat Bar sign and removing kitchen and other equipment from the building around mid-day.

Memorandum of understanding to support Explorers Clubs signed
BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, April 23, 2018 (PLP PR Media Inc.) — Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of National Security, Mr Osmond Petty, has revealed that his Ministry and the Ministry of Social Services have recently signed a memorandum of understanding to support the Explorers Movement which now has four established clubs.
