Permanent Secretaries, Director of Audit, Legal Support Staff introduced to the New Cabinet

Basseterre, St. Kitts, May 13, 2022: In keeping with his transparent and transformational leadership style and good governance agenda, the Honourable Prime Minister Dr. Timothy Harris and the Cabinet Secretary Ms. Josephine Huggins met with several civil servants and leaders across the government including the Permanent Secretaries, the Director of Audit and Legal Support Staff.  There and then, the Prime Minister introduced Honourable Eugene Hamilton as the new Deputy Prime Minister with additional duties of Public Infrastructure, Posts and Urban Development; Honourable Attorney General Vincent Byron with assigned roles to Foreign Affairs and Aviation, Education, Youth and Sports; Honourable Akilah Byron-Nisbett as the newest Minister of Culture; Honourable Wendy Phipps as Senator with responsibilities for Tourism, Transport and Ports.

Prime Minister and Minister of National Security meets Law Enforcement Officials

Basseterre, St. Kitts, May 13, 2022: Law and Order continue to occupy a very fundamental component of the lives of the citizenry of St. Kitts and Nevis.  In keeping with the good governance agenda geared to foster peace around the entire Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis by significantly reducing crime, the Prime Minister Dr. Harris and the Cabinet Secretary Ms. Josephine Huggins sat with several Law Enforcement Officials including the Commissioner of Police Mr. Hilroy Brandy, Member of the High Command, Lieutenant Colonel Anthony Comrie-Defence Force Commander, and other Members of the High Command, to listen and to speak to a progress report which categorically showed a substantial decrease in major crimes in the Federation.

A man died of complications in Dieppe Bay while fishing this morning

Information reaching this media house of Allegation of a man died in Dieppe Bay while fishing. Sources said he used a small boat what we call a ”dingy” and went out sea to catch fish. He appeared to encountered some complications while pulling up the anchor.

He was take away by EMS but didn’t make it
