Basseterre, St. Kitts, May 10, 2024 (SKNIS): The Federal Parliament of Saint Christopher and Nevis, on Thursday, May 09, 2024, passed the Justice Interference Prevention Bill, 2024, a pivotal legislation aimed at fortifying the criminal justice system against interference in legal proceedings. The Bill, passionately championed by Attorney General (AG), the Honourable Garth Wilkin, addressed critical issues of witness and juror intimidation.

The Federal Cabinet of St. Kitts and Nevis has been informed that a property designated as a hotel is currently being utilized as residential apartments for students attending a local educational institution. It is to be noted that the developers of that project received construction and retrofitting concessions on the basis of its intention to operate as a hotel.
