Development Bank participates in Gingerland Secondary School’s Career Day

Charlestown, NevisFebruary 7, 2019 (DBSKN) — Manager of the Nevis branch of the Development Bank of St. Kitts and Nevis, Ms Hyacinth Pemberton, while acknowledging today’s youth will be tomorrow’s leaders is congratulating the Gingerland Secondary School for preparing the youth for the world of work through career development.

Ms Pemberton made the observation on Wednesday February 6 following the hosting of a successful Career Day at the Gingerland Secondary School, where the Development Bank was one of the organisations that had been invited to put up stands at the Career Day exposition held in the school auditorium.

OFFICERS ENCOURAGE SANDY POINT YOUTH TO PRACTICE GOOD BEHAVIOUR

Basseterre, St. Kitts, February 07, 2019 (RSCNPF): Members of the Community Policing Initiative/National Intervention Team explained some of the benefits of good behaviour to the children of the Sandy Point Primary School this week.

This was their first school visit for the year. Officer Lauston Percival addressed the students during their morning assembly and warned the children that bad behaviour could be considered the weight keeping them back from being the best they could be in life.

The governments of Mexico, Uruguay and CARICOM, in response to the call of the Secretary General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, agree that the most appropriate way to address the complex situation that prevails in Venezuela is through dialogue for a negotiation, from a position of respect for International Law and Human Rights. The historical stance of our countries is and will always be to privilege diplomacy over other alternatives, as it is the only way to achieve sustainable, legitimate and effective peace and stability.
