NEWEST BATCH OF ISLAND CONSTABLES DEPLOYED AROUND ST. KITTS AND NEVIS
Basseterre, St. Kitts, February 18, 2019 (SKNIS): Twenty-four (24) new Island Constables who were recently sworn in took the Administration of the Oath and received their instruments of appointment during a brief but meaningful ceremony held at Government House on Monday, February 18, 2019.

The group made history of becoming the first island constables to be appointed specifically to tourism prescribed areas.

TEAM UNITY CABINET MEETS IN NEVIS
BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, February 18, 2019 (Press Unit in the Office of the Prime Minister) – Prime Minister Dr. the Honourable Timothy Harris is presently leading a meeting of the Federal Cabinet on the sister island of Nevis. The meeting is being held at the Cabinet Secretariat at the Social Security Building at Pinney’s Estate.

Today’s Cabinet session held greater significance as it was attended by members of the St. Kitts & Nevis (National) Marijuana Commission, led by Chief Medical Officer and Chairperson of the National Marijuana Commission, Dr. Hazel Laws.

Last week, Prime Minister Harris and his Cabinet Colleagues commenced a series of anniversary events, which included the highly successful National Consultation on YOUth Forum.
Tonight (Monday, February 18th, 2019), the people’s Team Unity Administration will hold a Town Hall Meeting in the St. Paul’s Anglican Church Hall as part of a series of events to commemorate its 4th Anniversary.Last week, Prime Minister Dr. the Honourable Timothy Harris and his Cabinet colleagues commenced a series of celebratory events – each one so far has been a massive success – including visits to businesses in the manufacturing sector, National Volunteer Day, and the National Consultation on YOUth Forum.

Tonight’s Town Hall Meeting will be aired live from 7:30pm on the following radio stations: VON Radio (860 AM), Sugar City (90.3) FM, and ZIZ Radio (95.9, 96.1, 96.3 or 96.9 FM).

TEAM UNITY’S 4TH ANNIVERSARY OLDER PERSONS LUNCHEON EXEMPLIFIES LOVE AND SERVICE
Basseterre, St. Kitts, February 17, 2019 (SKNIS): On February 16, the day that commemorates the fourth anniversary of the Team Unity Administration’s election to office, and which was designated as National Volunteer Day, hundreds of citizens and residents, including Cabinet ministers, engaged in community service throughout the length and breadth of the country. One such exemplary act of love and service was the 2nd Annual Older Persons Luncheon at Government House held under the patronage of the Governor General, His Excellency Sir S.W. Tapley Seaton.
