MINISTER’S YOUTH FORUM HIGHLIGHTS ONGOING INVESTMENTS IN YOUNG PEOPLE IN ST. KITTS AND NEVIS
Basseterre, St. Kitts, November 29, 2018 (SKNIS): Opportunities for young entrepreneurs to succeed in business, the construction of an ultra-modern Basseterre High School (BHS), and available support for career choices of young people were on the minds of young people in St. Kitts and Nevis, who attended the 2nd Annual Minister’s Youth Forum held at the Ocean Terrace Inn (OTI) on Wednesday (November 28, 2018).

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Youth, the Honourable Shawn Richards addressed these issues for the more than 100 youth from all walks of life, who participated in the interactive forum, held as part of Youth Month 2018.

High Court Judge orders government to pay over EC$60,000 to ex-LIME worker for wrongful arrest

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, November 29, 2018 – One of two men, who were employees of telecommunications provider LIME at the time of their wrongful arrest, has been awarded over EC$60,000 by a High Court Judge.

Her Ladyship Justice Pearletta Lanns handed down her ruling on November 15 in the civil suit brought against the Attorney General by Sylvester Anthony Law Firm on behalf of Romero Bowers.
