We will be protesting at the electoral office this morning .
We are doing so for the following reasons .
1) for a longtime now citizens can not get their national ID . To vote you need an ID . This is the only ID that some persons have . Eg. the elderlies ,many don’t have drivers license , many don’t travel hence no passport and many are retired hence no social security card. What will they vote with?
2) the monthly revised list is not posted as they should be . This is a list that declares who is properly registered on a monthly basis .
3) People are being told that they can’t transfer their names and are turned back .
4) This government illegally closed the electoral for 6 months saying that an investigation was being carried out . Up to this day the country has not seen the report .
Therefore to preserve our democracy , we must ensure that the electoral office is carrying out its duties.

Party Chairman – Dr Terrance Drew”
