POLICE SEEKING ASSISTANCE IN APPREHENDING ROBBERY SUSPECTS
Basseterre, St. Kitts, July 01, 2018 (RSCNPF): The Police are seeking the public’s assistance in apprehending individuals connected to two armed robbery incidents on June 30 in the Spring Hill area.

DEPUTY FIRE CHIEF ABDIAS SAMUEL PROMOTED TO RUN

Mr. Abdias Samuel, Deputy Fire Chief of the St. Kitts and Nevis Fire and Rescue Services (SKNFRS), has been promoted to run the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA).
Mr. Samuel’s new appointment, which takes effect Monday, July 2nd, 2018, comes following the retirement of the National Disaster Coordinator, Mr. Carl Herbert, earlier this year.

Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Merclyn Hughes – the first female to be appointed to the High Command of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) – was announced today as St. Kitts and Nevis’ new Chief of Immigration, which will now be a separate entity from the Police Force, effective Monday, July 2nd, 2018.
