Autopsy Performed On Diver

Basseterre, St. Kitts, May 09, 2017(RSCNPF) The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force responded to a report of a sudden death of a diver on Saturday, (May 06).

Investigations revealed that while on a diving excursion the victim was seen floating in the water,  he was brought aboard the diving vessel where efforts were made to assist him. He later died onboard.

The victim was identified as Mr. Carlos V. Diaz of  Bronx, NY.

A Post Mortem Examination conducted on Monday, (May 08) concluded that Mr. Carlos V. Diaz’s death was as a result of Pulmonary Edema, Myocardial Hypertrophy, and Hypertensive Heart Disease.

The body was handed over to his wife Mrs Diana Diaz for the funeral arrangements.

FOUR CHARGED FOR OBTAINING MONEY BY FALSE PRETENSES

Basseterre, St. Kitts, May 11, 2017(RSCNPF) An ongoing investigation by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force into a case of fraud against the Government has resulted in charges for four (4) persons.

Charged are Ivas Burnham of Middle Island, Lescelia Francis of Lamberts, Lynette Warner of Conyers and Lejon Warner of Conyers.

Falling Rocks at Old Road Bay

PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT ROCKS HAVE FALLEN IN THE AREA OF OLD ROAD BAY. DRIVERS ARE ASKED TO BE EXTREMELY VIGILANT WHEN PASSING ON THE ISLAND MAIN ROAD IN THE VICINITY OF THE FALLING ROCKS. IF POSSIBLE, RESIDENTS OF THE WESTERN SIDE OF THE ISLAND ARE ENCOURAGED TO SEEK ALTERNATE ROUTES HOME.

THE MET OFFICE HAS INFORMED THAT A TROUGH IN THE AREA IS PRODUCING MODERATE TO HEAVY RAINFALL AND POSSIBLE THUNDERSTORMS TO ST. KITTS AND NEVIS.

Shooting at the Bus & Ferry Terminal

Basseterre, St. Kitts, May 11, 2017 (RSCNPF): Police is investigating a shooting incident which occurred sometime after 4.00pm on Thursday (May 11) on the Bay Road.

Initial investigations reveal that one person received a gunshot injury to the ankle.  The victim was taken to the Joseph N. France General Hospital for treatment.

Officers from Basseterre Police Station, the Violent Crimes Unit (VCU) and the Special Services Unit (SSU) responded.  Technicians from the Forensics Services Unit canvassed the scene and collected items of evidential value.

We urge anyone who may have information with regards to this incident to come forward.  You can do so anonymously by calling any station, Crime Stoppers or by using the SKN Crime Reporter App on your Smartphone.

Dear Buckie
I think you should be a politician or a journalist you have a lot of follower and we need someone like you people listen and wait out for you.

I have some issue with the former Labour commissioner he made a lot of unfair practice. Along with who is there now…..another thing ? Can your landlord come into your yard to do work without notification from you the Tennant……… Don’t you think all those custom officers who driving Fancy cars should be investigated…..what is the government doing to help with the crime …….. And the list goes on tell me what you think hope you can help
