Seconding the bill during the Sitting of the National Assembly on Thursday, July 30, 2026, Senator Dr. Clarke said the  amendments are designed to strengthen the Federation’s legal framework in an increasingly interconnected world where criminals frequently cross national borders to evade justice.

Basseterre, St. Kitts, July 31, 2026 (PMO): Prime Minister Hon. Dr. Terrance Drew and members of the Federal Cabinet will today, July 31st, lead representatives of the media on an extensive tour of key government capital and national development projects across St. Kitts.

The media tour will provide journalists with direct access to several major projects that are either under construction, undergoing rehabilitation or already contributing to the delivery of essential public services. It will also allow media professionals to observe the progress of works firsthand, receive detailed briefings and engage directly with the Prime Minister, responsible Ministers, senior government officials, technical experts, engineers, contractors and project managers.
