ICE MACHINE AT OLD ROAD FISHERIES COMPLEX RE-COMMISSIONED AFTER OVER TWO YEARS INOPERATIVE
BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, July 5, 2023 (SKNIS) – The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Marine Resources and Cooperatives has brought significant relief to the fishing community of Old Road through the re-commissioning of the Ice Machine at the Old Road Fisheries Complex, which had been out of operation since March of 2021.

FOUR SENTENCED TO PRISON ON MULTIPLE DRUG CHARGES
On July 3rd, 2023, His Honour Renold Benjamin sentenced four (4) men to His Majesty’sPrison on multiple drug possession and importation charges. The charges werepreviously laid following a major drug find by local authorities on a cargo boat, MVElizabeth C, at the St. Kitts Deep Water Port on October 4th, 2022.
