PM Harris implores students to contribute to the peace and safety of the country
BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, December 5, 2018 (PLP PR Media Inc.) — A relationship cultivated between renowned businessman, and former Government Minister, Mr Richard Caines and Grade Five students at the Dr William Connor Primary School was cemented on Wednesday December 5 with former throwing an early Christmas party for the latter.

DASPA had initially requested the officers to conduct the training during the third quarter of 2017, but plans had to be postponed on account of the devastating effects of Hurricanes Irma and Maria on Dominica and surrounding islands.
Mr. Griffin has approximately ten (10) years experience working in the field of aviation as an Inspector and Civil Aviation Officer. He has trained personnel in the area of aviation security from a wide array of departments in St Kitts and Nevis. Mr. Jordon is also an inspector and trainer and since joining the Ministry has received the necessary training which has equipped him with the relevant skills and expertise, which he can now impart to others.

The 2018 High School Chefs’ competition included partners such as TDC and its subsidiary Ocean Terrace Inn (OTI), as well as the St. Kitts Scenic Railway; Canejuice; S L Horsfords & Company Ltd; VIP Connected; SOL EC Ltd; Dolphin Discovery, and the Ministry of Tourism. The Ministry of Tourism partnered with the Department of Youth Empowerment to sponsor the competition for the very first time in the history of the event.

“The choice of this years’ theme is certainly not accidental. Rather, it is meant to remind the world that the war against HIV/AIDS begins with each of us; each person being aware of his or her status via testing. For it has been found that there are far too many persons living with HIV who are not receiving treatment or care,” she said.
