St. Kitts and Nevis’ Prime Minister, Dr. the Honourable Timothy Harris, signing a landmark air services agreement between St. Kitts-Nevis and the United Arab Emirates

Attached is a photo of St. Kitts and Nevis’ Prime Minister, Dr. the Honourable Timothy Harris, signing an air services agreement with His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).  They signed the landmark agreement yesterday, Tuesday, April 10th, 2018.

The seminal move paves the way for air traffic between the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis and the United Arab Emirates, the most competitive economy in the Middle East.

The UAE ranks first in global competitiveness in the Middle East region, including in ground and port infrastructure, information and communication technology (ICT) readiness, safety and security, transport infrastructure, and tourist service infrastructure.

Prime Minister Harris’ visit to the UAE solidifies St. Kitts-Nevis’ ties with the most competitive economy in the Middle East


Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, April 11th, 2018:
 St. Kitts and Nevis’ Prime Minister, Dr. the Honourable Timothy Harris, and His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), held a constructive meeting yesterday, Tuesday, April 10th, 2018, which included the signing of a landmark air services agreement to pave the way for air traffic between the two countries.

It is within the context of pursuing increased transportation links between St. Kitts-Nevis and the United Arab Emirates that a topic of discussion was the possibility of a visa-free waiver agreement between the countries.  Nationals of St. Kitts and Nevis do not need visas/entry permits to enter more than 150 countries.

Born of St. Kitts parents, Lady Leshurr: How tooth brushing made a YouTube star
London, England, April 11, 2018 – Born in Birmingham, England to Kittitian parents, Lady Leshurr would’ve been considered a rapper, pure and simple ten years ago.
But today, the 29-year-old’s hugely successful online videos make her difficult to categorise.
“I never thought I’d be classed as a YouTuber, but I guess I am technically,” she tells BBC News.
“YouTube has done everything for my career,” she said to Entertainment reporter, Steven McIntosh.

NEW FORENSICS LAB IN ST. KITTS TO BE COMMISSIONED SHORTLY

Basseterre, St. Kitts, April 10, 2018 (SKNIS): The Forensics Lab of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force is nearing completion and is expected to be commissioned shortly.

The facility is being constructed on the compound that hosts the Tabernacle Police Station by a number of local contractors operating under Clive Bickram of Clever Solutions Ltd. based in Trinidad.
