Basseterre, St. Kitts, February 26, 2018 – WINNFM and Attorney Sylvester Anthony, counsel for former St. Kitts and Nevis Prime Minister and currently, Leader of the Opposition, the Right Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas, have confirmed that Attorney General, Hon. Vincent Byron asked High Court Judge Justice Trevor Ward for an adjournment and time to file a response to Dr. Douglas’ affidavits.

I have largely stayed out of the Douglas Dominica passport fiasco but today I saw a video clip outside the High Court where Dr Douglas is once again taking up people and parading them around Basseterre to support foolishness. Dr Douglas knows better and should seek to do better.

Local divers retrieve mutilated body of French youth killed in tragic boating accident last Saturday

Charlestown, Nevis, February 26, 2018 – Divers retrieved the body of a French national from the waters of Nevis’ Pinney’s Beach on Saturday following a tragic boat incident late Saturday afternoon.

Twenty-four-year old Keryan Grimault was swimming in the waters of Pinney’s Beach when the incident occurred. He was said to be visiting his parents who reside at Cliff Dwellers.

The boat reportedly owned by Vincent Perkins and under the command of Cameron Aaron, was transporting some guests to the nearby Four Seasons Resort when the deadly incident occurred.

“The propeller of the boat mauled the tourist who was in the water either swimming or snorkelling,” a source said Saturday night.

Another source said local divers retrieved the badly mutilated body from the bottom of the sea.

Police said one person is being held for questioning.

Attorney General’s niece asks for adjournment; Justice Ward agrees to Douglas’ request for earlier trial

Basseterre, St. Kitts, February 26th 2018 – Leader of the Opposition, the Right Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas has described as “ridiculous” the request by the Attorney General Hon. Vincent Byron for a postponement in the civil suit brought against him when the matter came before Justice Trevor Warde on Monday at the Sir Lee Llewellyn Moore Judicial and Legal Services Complex.
