REPORT OF ARRESTS, CONVICTIONS AND OTHER ACTIVITIES
Basseterre, St. Kitts, July, 31 2017, (RSCNPF): Below is a report of Arrests, Convictions and other activities recorded by the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force for the period July 29 -30, 2017.
ARREST AND BAIL:
Arrested: Jerod Stapleton of Lodge Estate was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Possession of Cannabis.
Arrested: Ezrette Henville of Ponds Pasture was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of Possession of Cocaine and Possession of Cocaine with intent to supply.
Arrested: Eric Thompson of Ponds Pasture was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of Possession of Cocaine and Possession of Cocaine with intent to supply.
Arrested: Rayheim Forbes of Ponds Pasture was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of Possession of Cocaine and Possession of Cocaine with intent to supply.
Arrested: Adrian Caines of Main Street St. Paul’s was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence Possession of Cannabis.
Arrested: Shakeem Norford of West Street Newtown was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Carrying A-Broad and offence weapon.
Bailed: Bernel Whyte of Fort Thomas Road who was formally charged and cautioned for the offences of Possession of Cocaine and Possession of Cocaine with intent to supply which was committed on Friday 28th July 2017, he was granted bail in the sum of $10,000 for his appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on 4th September, 2017
Bailed: Terrance Flemming of Barnes Ghaut who was arrested and charged for the offence of Possession of Cannabis was granted bail in the sum of Three thousand dollars ($3000.00) for his appearance at the Charlestown Magistrate Court on Tuesday 15th August, 2017
OTHER ACTIVITY:
Search Warrants Executed: Police executed a number of search warrants during the period of this report. Warrants were executed on properties in the following areas: Clay Ghaut, Horizon Villas (Frigate Bay), Lime Kiln, Ponds Pasture, Taylors Village, Carifesta Village, Douglas Estate, Fort Street, Bakers Corner, Conaree Village, Fort Thomas Road, Shadwell and Shaw Avenue.
Abandoned Properties: Police continue to execute searches of abandoned properties; most recent searches were done in the following areas: Virgil Newtown Street, West Bourne Ghaut, Victoria Road, Village, Farm Site (Sandy Point), (3) abandon building situated at lower Durant Avenue and Newtown where (10) Marijuana Plants ranging from seedling to two feet in height was uprooted.
House Breaking and Larceny: Police responded to a report of a House Breaking and Larceny that occurred at Clay Ghaut. V/C reported that he secured his house at about 8.30am and left. Upon return at 7.15pm discovered four (4) brown envelopes containing a sum of cash for (1) Samsung Cellphone and charger and One (1) Smart watch were all stolen from his house. Investigations are ongoing.
Citizen Safety: Police continue to conduct stop and searches, vehicular check points, searches of ferry terminals and marinas and mobile patrols around the Federation. These are being done in efforts to remove illegal firearms, ammunition, illegal drugs and instruments that can be used to commit crimes from our communities.
