Changes in the Ministry of Education for the new academic year 2017-2018:
For principals: Sylvester Charles from Tucker Clarke Primary; Avonelle Martin from Deane Glasford Primary and Janelle Williams- Jacobs from Joshua O. Williams Primary have all been transferred to take up duties in the Education Department Office at Stanford Building, Golden Rock.
Valencia Syder has been transferred from Dr. William Connor to Deane Glasford. Jean Nisbett- Boddie has been transferred from Irish Town to Dr. William Connor. Suzette Cannonier has been transferred from Estridge Primary to Joshua O. Williams Primary. The new principals are Avonelle Fraites who will be at Irish Town Primary, Marcia Dore who was the deputy at Violet Petty, will be the principal at Estridge Primary, Leslie Richardson, who was the deputy at Tucker Clarke Primary will be the principal. Mrs. Williams-Jacobs who was the deputy at Washington Archibald High, will now be their principal.
